of 15.5 nm.
On Road Control and handling of Tvs Apache Rtr 180
TVS Apache RTR 160 supports front 270 mm disc brakes and rear 200 mm
disc drum brake. TVS Apache RTR 180 has Roto Petal disc brakes at both
ends with same disc dimensions as in TVS Apache RTR 160. Such sort of
advanced braking system work with negligible mistakes and halts the bike
instantly. Moreover, TVS Apache RTR ABS is fortified with Rear wheel
Lift-off Protection (RLP) system which controls the overall speed of the
bike and decelerates it when it is likely to lift off during emergency
braking situations. The best part of the system is, this contorting is
done by the RLP system even without any loss of stopping distance. The
bike comes with an ‘ABS-Off’ switch, which disables the ABS technology
as and when required, enabling the rider to use TVS Apache RTR in a
controlled manner.
Riding Experience - Suspension of Tvs Apache Rtr 180
TVS Apache RTR series has the basic telescopic fork at the front along
with a mono tube inverted gas filled shock (MIG) with spring aid at the
rear end. Additionally, the bike is launched with the mono-shock
absorber which gives a total jerk free riding experience. A new feature
of poly shock has been installed in the bike which is a suspension
mechanism wherein one can ride quite smoothly with less friction.
